I want to share a dream that has been growing in my heart for many years. My dream is to create the EnglishMystic Retreat Centre.

A permanent home for healing, spiritual education, Dragon Shamanism and transformational retreats in the beautiful countryside of South West England.

For many years, I have helped people through books, online courses, healing sessions and live gatherings.

At the heart of everything I teach is one simple belief.

The greatest healer you will ever meet is yourself.

I want to continue helping more people understand their own energy, connect with their inner wisdom, and learn practical ways to support their healing.

Online work is incredibly powerful, and something special happens when people gather together in person.

When we sit around a fire, walk upon the land, meditate, share, laugh, cry and connect with Spirit, the healing becomes deeper.

If the Dragon Thunder community of 3,000+ people contribute an average of just £35, together we can create the EnglishMystic Retreat Centre.

I, EnglishMystic, am raising £100,000 to help acquire and begin developing a permanent rural retreat and training centre in the Southwest of England.

For many years, the EnglishMystic offerings have grown through online teaching, Dragon Shamanism training, healing sessions, workshops, memberships, books, webinars, summits, live events and in-person retreat experiences.

What began as a personal spiritual journey has grown into an international community of students, practitioners, healers, authors and people seeking a deeper connection with themselves, nature, Spirit and the Dragons.

The next chapter is to create a permanent home for that community.

Our Vision

Our vision is to establish the EnglishMystic Retreat Centre in a beautiful rural location in the Southwest of England ( Devon / Cornwall ).

We are searching for land or a suitable property surrounded by nature where we can create a peaceful, welcoming and financially sustainable retreat and training centre.

The centre will become a permanent home for EnglishMystic retreats, courses, healing experiences and spiritual events.

We envisage a place with teaching and healing spaces, areas for meditation and ceremony, access to nature, fire circles, walking areas and peaceful spaces where people can rest, reflect and reconnect.

Over time, we hope to develop accommodation that will allow people to stay for residential retreats, training programmes and spiritual experiences.

We intend to create a retreat centre that is spiritually meaningful while also operating as a financially sustainable business.

Why We Need a Permanent Home

EnglishMystic already has an established international community and an existing business providing spiritual education, healing, publishing, courses, events and retreat experiences.

However, physical events currently depend upon hiring external venues.

This limits the number and type of retreats we can offer and means that money which could be invested into developing our own facilities is instead spent hiring other people's spaces.

Having a permanent retreat centre would allow us to run more events, create residential programmes, welcome visiting teachers and practitioners, produce educational content and develop additional sources of sustainable income.

Most importantly, it would give our community somewhere to belong.

A place people can return to again and again.

Our £100,000 Crowdfunding Goal

We are raising £100,000 to contribute towards the acquisition and initial development of the EnglishMystic Retreat Centre.

The funds raised may be used towards:

The exact allocation of funds will depend upon the property or land that is ultimately selected.

A Sustainable Retreat Centre

This project is not intended to rely permanently upon crowdfunding.

The £100,000 campaign is designed to help us acquire and establish the retreat centre.

Once operational, the centre will generate income from a range of activities, including EnglishMystic retreats and training programmes, healing events, day workshops, residential programmes, venue hire, collaborative retreats, community events, digital education and, where possible, accommodation.

EnglishMystic will also continue operating its existing online education, publishing, healing, courses and digital products.

The retreat centre will create additional sources of income rather than replacing our existing business.

Our objective is to create a retreat centre that can support itself, grow responsibly and serve the community for many years to come.

Who Is Behind the Project?

My name is Kevin Paul Humphrey, founder of EnglishMystic and Dragon Shamanism teacher, healer, author and spiritual practitioner.

For many years, I have taught spiritual development, Dragon Shamanism and healing practices to people around the world.

Through EnglishMystic, I have created courses, healing programmes, workshops, books, memberships, webinars, online communities and in person spiritual experiences.

My work has allowed me to meet extraordinary people from many different countries and spiritual traditions.

Again and again, I have seen the power of bringing people together.

Something changes when people leave their everyday environment and spend time surrounded by nature, community and others walking a similar path.

People slow down.

They reconnect.

They remember what matters.

They heal.

They discover friendships and connections that can continue long after the retreat has ended.

Creating a permanent retreat centre has become the natural next step in the journey of EnglishMystic.

More Than a Building

The EnglishMystic Retreat Centre will be more than a piece of land or a collection of buildings.

A place where people can walk through the gates and feel that they have arrived somewhere different.

Q1. What is the EnglishMystic Retreat Centre?

The EnglishMystic Retreat Centre is our vision for a permanent rural home dedicated to healing, spiritual education, Dragon Shamanism, transformational retreats and community.

Rather than hiring different venues around the country, we want to create a place that people can return to year after year. A peaceful sanctuary where people can reconnect with nature, themselves and Spirit.

Q2. Why are you creating the retreat centre?

For more than a decade I have helped people through books, online courses, healing sessions, workshops, retreats and spiritual education.

Again and again I have witnessed how deeply people transform when they gather together in nature.

The retreat centre is the natural next step in creating a permanent home where this work can continue to grow for generations.

Q3. Where will the retreat centre be?

We are searching for a suitable rural property or land in Devon or Cornwall, surrounded by nature and easily accessible while still offering peace and tranquillity.

Q5. Do I need experience?

No. Beginners are very welcome. As they currently are in all my online courses and retreats.

The retreat centre is intended for everyone, whether you are taking your first steps on your spiritual journey or have many years of experience.

Q6. Why are you raising £100,000?

The funds will contribute towards acquiring and beginning the development of the EnglishMystic Retreat Centre.

This includes purchasing suitable land or property, legal costs, surveys, infrastructure, teaching spaces, utilities, preparation of the land and essential facilities required to begin operating.

Q7. What happens if the full £100,000 is not raised?

The vision remains exactly the same.

If we do not reach the full target immediately, we will continue developing the retreat centre in carefully planned phases using the funds raised.

Every contribution moves the project forwards. For example, we can purchase a Yurt for around £ 10,000.

Q8. Why aren't you using Kickstarter?

Crowdfunding platforms can charge significant fees.

By managing the campaign directly through EnglishMystic, more of every contribution goes directly towards creating the retreat centre.

Having taught thousands of students over many years through retreats, workshops, books and online courses, we already have an established community who know our work and wanted a more direct way to support this vision.

Q9. Is my contribution an investment?

No. Your contribution is a voluntary donation towards creating the EnglishMystic Retreat Centre.

It does not provide financial ownership, shares or investment returns.

Depending on the level of your contribution their are sessions and days at the retreat on offer as a heartfelt thank you.

Q10. Are donations refundable?

As contributions are voluntary donations supporting the creation of the retreat centre, donations are generally not refundable.

Q11. Can I donate more than once?

Absolutely.

Many supporters choose to contribute more than once as the project develops.

Q12. Can I donate anonymously?

Yes.

If you would prefer not to appear on the Founding Supporters Roll of Honour, simply let us know.

Trust and Transparency

Q13. How will my donation be managed?

All donations are received into the EnglishMystic business account.

Funds are used solely to support the acquisition and development of the EnglishMystic Retreat Centre.

These are fully detailed by EnglishMystic's accountant and submitted as per UK requirements.

Yes. Supporters will receive regular project updates including:

Ownership

The long-term vision is to create something lasting.

A trust helps preserve the retreat centre so it can continue serving future generations of students, practitioners and visitors.

Q18. What happens if the original property is unavailable?

The crowdfunding campaign supports the vision of creating the EnglishMystic Retreat Centre rather than purchasing one specific property.

If a particular property becomes unavailable, we will continue searching for the right location.

Q19. What if the ideal property costs more than £100,000?

The campaign provides the foundation.

Additional funding may come from EnglishMystic income, future fundraising or phased development.

The vision remains unchanged.

Digital rewards will normally be delivered once your donation has been processed.
