Though Dean does not hold a seat of power on the Earth and he does carry the Royal Dragon Bloodline in his veins and the Pendragon DNA, not the faked line of Nicholas von Drakensberg either, that uses the Brotherhood of the Snake impostors as the line he follows which has Charlemagne as the main evidence and of the Right to Rule mentality. Though Dean carries both Brotherhood of the Dragon and Snake in his Genes, with King Charles, 13 US Presidents and even Vlad Dracula in his Family Tree the position of Pendragon was always to be his Birthright, but Dean had the choice of following either path as this position he holds comes with some unique and extremely powerful Magikal abilities, though the risk of him choosing Service to Self was great he chose the path of Service to Others by vowing to serve the Dragons instead of exploiting them as the impostors have done for several centuries ending in 2020 when Dean was initiated by his predecessor. Shortly after his initiation he was invited to join the Illuminati to fulfil his Birthright and become Grand Master of the secret order, Dean initially agreed to join believing that he could bring real change to the world. But when he was expected to give his loyalties to Satan it became evident that he was expected to become the Pindar, he did not join them he instead chose title of Pendragon which is more fitting than Pindar.

He is constantly tasked with finding, freeing, healing and releasing Dragons that have been held in service to men and women through bondage and contracts written in blood or through Left Hand Path rituals, these agreements always benefit the human and never the Dragon. These ways are barbaric and antiquated and were created by members of the BoS trying to replicate the methods that members of the BoD can achieve naturally which is Embodiment of their Dragon Guardian, this process awakens the Dragon within and unlocks abilities that lay dormant within the Human/Dragon Incarnate that would appear Otherworldly to anyone.

There was always the chance that Dean would choose to have Dragonkind serve him and he would use his new found abilities for his own greed and power, but the Dragons saw the true Heart of this nobody man and they knew immediately that he was the Light among the Darkness and that he would be the one that had been mentioned throughout the past 4300+ years as the one who would Liberate Dragonkind and to help bring back the old ways of Dragonkind including the original form of Magik that existed before man created their perverted form of Magick and LHP rituals. 

Dean has chosen to serve Dragonkind and to bring back the old ways of the Dragon that have been either corrupted by man or hidden from mankind, this forced the need to protect and preserve the continued existence of the true Dragon Lore, and ultimately Dragonkind, as long as Dean draws breath Dragonkind is safe and able to once again share their knowledge and wisdom with mankind for the benefit of both Humankind and Dragonkind alike. No longer will greedy Men & Women find it easy to summon a Dragon in order for an agreement to be made between both Human and Dragon, instead all Dragons have chosen not to answer a summoning call from a Human and instead all Humans now can access their own Guardian Dragons which is a part of the Human Soul, just as the original High Priests of the Dragon Brotherhood were only ever capable of doing, now the need of impostors trying to emulate the process that came naturally for only Dragon Incarnates and now the time for the BoS initiates is over because now every single human being with a Soul can connect with their own Dragon.
